after the install and reboot my drivers are still showing as the image attached… even a manual driver update states that its already up to date?
Drive number 2 encountered a recoverable error.
G500 replcement DVD drive
Hello, the DVD drive on my G500 seems to have developed an intermintent problem. Sometimes it rips CDs without a problem, and sometimes it either doesn’t work at all, or is slow and fails to read properly.
Is it possible to order a replacement drive from Lenovo?

I recently own a Lenovo Legion Y530(Core i7-8750H up to 4.1GHz, 15.6", IPS, Full HD, Antiglare, 8GB DDR4, 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti without a disk drive). I look for inexpensive SSD drive and I liked this – Samsung SSD 860 EVO 250GB M.2(MZ-N6E250BW) – Price $55. Do you think they are compatible?
If this SDD(Samsung SSD 860 EVO 250GB) is not compatible I have a second option – Samsung 970 EVO 250 GB NVMe M.2 SSD(MZ-V7E250BW) – Price $75
