I recently got a Thinkpad T490 (brand new) from my work. At first i didn’t have any issues with the sound, however i usually keep the speakers muted while I’m at work or use a Bluetooth headset. At some point after upgrading Windows and drivers from Lenovo Vantage my internal sound device is no longer detected. Audio through Bluetooth still works but nothing from the internal speakers, 3.5 mm or HDMI. There are no disabled sound devices and in device manager i can only see my Bluetooth headset (if connected). Running dxdiag shows no sound device detected (if my headset is not connected). It’s as if the sound card is not even there.

Microphone: low recording volume – Lenovo IdeaPad Z50-75
I am quite desperate as of right now. My mic volume is just low and I have tried everything there is to fix it.
1. My drivers are up to date and reistalled several times (Conexant smartaudio, AMB high definition audio device).
2. My microphone settings are on point (no apps are allowed to tak control of it).
3. "Do nothing" is chosen in communication tab of sound settings.
4. Mic is not muted or turned off obviously.
Few weeks back I was actually able to make it work loud enough by just starting sound settings before pluging mic in. I know, strange, it does not make any sense, but it was working for a while.
I have Win10 btw.
Anyone has any solution, please?
