Calendar display and related skills don't work in show mode

Hi there

I have setup my Smart tab and dock, and all the Alexa skills work in Show mode except ones related to displaying or reading out the calendar.  In show mode, it will not display calendar entries on the screen, and Alexa simply times out when asked a question about the calandar.

Everything works correctly when using Alexa with the tablet out of the dock, and you can even successfully add things to the calendar in show mode using Alexa, so the accounts appear to be correctly linked.   I only have one google mail account associated with the calendar, and I have tried unlinking / relinking and uninstalling / reinstalling the Show application.

How do I fix the calendar visability in show mode?

Ideapad 520-15IKB – Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 – Windows 10 Pro 64-bit – wifi problems

Hi,

I just bought an Ideapad 520-15IKB, with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 wireless card, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed.

I noticed that on some wireless networks (on one from home, on another at the office) the wireless card randomly looses the connection, sometimes it gets disconnected from the network, sometimes just the internet is blocked. Sometimes I don’t even notice (just a few errors in the event viewer) , other times nothing work (event viewer full of errors).

On some other wireless networks everything works smoothly.

I tried  to change the drivers, installing different ones, starting from the Intel support site, also getting from the Lenovo support site the Idepad 520-15IKB specific wireless card drivers.

Without success in any situations, after a period of time the same happens in every case.

Also I found on a few forums similar topics, but beside advices to update the drivers, no useful help.

When the problems start, the following errors are registered in Windows Event Viewer – System logs:

‘5007 – TX/CMD timeout (TfdQueue hanged)’

‘The network interface "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265" has begun resetting.  There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset. This network interface has reset 63 time(s) since it was last initialized.’

Thanks for your advices.

Screen on Lenovo tab 4 plus goes mad and jumps around.

I received a Lenovo tab 4 plus at Christmas and the screen, at times, goes mad. It flickers, jumps randomly from app to app and becomes totally unresponsive. If I plug it into the charger this stops and if I manage to reboot it is OK also. It has been known to send an email when half composed but that only happened once. I would like to know if there is a fix for this or if it is a hardware problem and should be returned under guarantee? The system is android 8.1.0 but the problem started before the upgrade when it was still on android 7. I would be grateful for any suggestions or advice.

External Mouse kept pausing for 1~2 seconds every few seconds

Every once a while, the external mouse (whether it is wired or wireless) will just freeze up (pause/hang or whatever you call it) for like 1 to 2 seconds. The external keyboard will also seems to loose some keys when typed. I purposely press & hold a particular key, say a "B" or "R" and the repetition will stop after a 1 to 2 seconds. Am I having a problematic notebook?

PS: I typed the above on the onboard keys.

My system:

Model: P52

Updated v1:

I think I’ve narrowed down the problem to an external USB 3.0, 7-port hub (j5create). I’ll test with other USB hub & see if such problem occurs again.

Updated v2:

Managed to duplicate the problem. When the external mouse & keyboard are connected to an external USB hub (either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0), this problem would surface. So, does it mean P52 have an issue with mouse & keyboard connected via a USB hub?
