T500 Wi-Fi

I was reading the serice manual for my T500 and notied none ofthe OEM Wi-Fi cards are even close to 802.11n compliant. So claims of being compliant are false, what else is new from marketing.

I also notied the Intel Wi-Fi Link 5100 in my machine is a the longer model card. I also dicovered there are 3 antennae leads which match the needs for this ac1300 card I found on with a better Broadcom chip.

Can the T500 use a 2T2R Wi-Fi card? It has 3 leads so that suggests it can do it.

So I was wondering if the T500 needs to have a screw pad installed to be able to use the smaller mini PCI Express card?

My BIOS has been cleaned from whitelists so I can fix any problems.

ThinkStation P700 – Adding a Second Processor

Hello, I have a ThinkStation P700 that came stock with an Intel Xeon E5-1630 V3. The stock motherboard is capable of holding 2 processors and I need to add a second processor. However, the "Platform Specifications" data sheet for this model (Attached) says the following:

Processor:

Up to two 145W Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 family processors,
Or up to one 140W Intel Xeon E5-1600 v3 family processor.

DOES THIS MEAN THAT I CAN NOT ADD A PORCESSOR FROM THE 2600 FAMILY IF I ALREADY HAVE ONE FORM THE 1600 FAMILY? Or can I mix and match, for example, a Xeon E5-1630 v3 and a Xeon E5-2650L v3 in the same motherboard?

Thank you for your help.
