I have tried to pay on websites with stored credit cards. However, my Lenovo always requires me to scan a new card, over and over again. Is there a way to keep them stored once I scan? Thanks.
Firmware update problem. *Again*.
Having read stories about recent firmware updates that had problems, I was hesistant to install an Intel ME update (via fwupdmgr). But I did it anyway. More fool me. Now I get some asinine warning upon boot complaining about my adaptor, saying it’s wattage is too low. It’s a Lenovo adaptor. It is the lower of two wattages sold for my model (an X1CG6).
Seriously, Lenovo. Please try harder not to mess up constantly.
I saw the message on the second or third post-flash reboot. I hope to goodness I won’t keep seeing it. It did allow the computer to boot – after I pressed a key.
Update details, as reported by fwupdmgr (you know, the Linux firmware update tool that Lenovo support has no idea exists . .):

Fan Noise almost all time Ideapad 720s
Hello,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad 720s almost new and I formated and updated it a few weeks ago. The issue is that after this, the fans sound almost all the time, for example I open chorme and they start to sound and after a while the fans shut up, before I formated and updated windows and the pc, the fans didn’t sound at all, only a little when I was rendering video edits, but now opening chrome or word and the fans start to sound like crazy
Lenovo Ideapad 700-17ISK shuts down when playing Overwatch/DotA
I got Lenovo Ideapad 700-17ISK about two years ago, and recently it started to shut down anywhere after 2-20min while in any more high demanding game like Overwatch/HotS/DotA where previously it didn’t. Just without any warning the laptop goes black and sometimes it won’t turn on right away, but rather after waiting for some time. I think it only happens when it is charging and not when I am in game with using battery only. I tried running Vantage to check for hardware malfunctions and the results were clear with final result code: W3UHRCSC93MJ-L5AHH8. What could be the reason for this problem?
Lenovo Yoga 720-ikb Camera disabled
My camera is not working on my Yoga laptop. I am 99.99% sure that it is my F8 button not working properly. The F8 button is (now was) a shortcut to disable the camera, but it no longer works. All my other function keys work, and I have tried both pressing F8 with and without pressing Fn button to no avail. I have checked drivers for updates and to ensure that it is enabled. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have attached a screenshot of what I see below.
Thanks!
