Thinkstation p330 no video

Frequent freezes

I’ve got the Smart Display 10. I’ve been experiencing frequent freezing on the device. Often, I’ll wake up in the morning and I see a frozen clock screen showing 7:00 PM or something. I have the latest update. I also have problems streaming audio or video for more than 10-15 minutes. I’m not doing anything at all unusual with it.

Has anyone found any sort of success fixing this issue?

Few questions regarding Lenovo Legion Y530

Hi. I got the Lenovo Legion Y530 today, with the i5-8300H, GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and 16GB DDR4 2666 MHz RAM. I’ve got a couple of questions about it:

1. When I play games on it (although I’ve only tested on League of Legends and CS:GO), and when the charger is unplugged, I am limited to 30 FPS. I imagine this is because the laptop is using the integrated graphics card rather than the good NVidia one, but I went to the 3D settings of NVidia and changed it so that the NVidia GPU is used every time, and did this for separate programs as well, but it still stays at 30 FPS until I plug the charger in, which is when it receives its "full power" and I get normal FPS. Is it possible to switch this off so that even when unplugged I can still get good FPS?

2. How loud are the fans supposed to be and what are the temperatures supposed to be like during gaming? My temps when testing on League of Legends are: 59 degrees Celsius on the GPU and 72-78 degrees Celsius on the CPU in game, I don’t know if this is safe or not, not very knowledgeable on laptops.

3. Sometimes, the fan will get a bit loud for like 1-2 seconds and then go down again. Is this supposed to be happening, and if not, how can I fix this?

I’m attaching a screenshot of my temperatures with Google Chrome only open.

TS460 SAS HDD Not Recognized

I purchased a TS460 and I’m trying to setup the drives but they aren’t recognized in the bios. I’ve purchased (4) Seagate Exos 7E8 1TB SAS drives (ST1000NM0045). I’ve set the storage mode to both AHCI and Raid with no luck.  I’ve put a couple of SATA drives in the carriage and they are recognized with no problem .Would anyone have any advice on getting these SAS drives working?

Best Regards,

J. Harris
